Minish Cap rather like LinkвЂ™s Awakening has one of the more whimsical stories in the Zelda universe, for that reason I feel the toyetic tilt-shift art style used for the 2019 LinkвЂ™s Awakening remake would work wonderfully in the event the game does receive a remake. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is one of my favourite games of all time, whilst I personally think its pixel-art aesthetic still looks gorgeous and mechanically it holds up very well IвЂ™d absolutely love to see this game get a remake on Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap вЂ“ Capcom/Nintendo (2004) Square Enix seem to be very interested in bringing legacy titles to modern platforms in the form of HD-2D remakes and if there willing to take a chance on a game like Live A live I see absolutely no reason theyвЂ™re not at the very least considering Dragon Quest V. This alone is a very justifiable reason for a remake. Giving this game a remake in the HD-2D engine would not only bring the title into the modern era both visually and mechanically, but it would also make it far more accessible to consumers. I know the game did receive a remaster for DS but itвЂ™s incredibly expensive on the second hand market place so it isnвЂ™t really an option for many.

The reason for this is that although Dragon Quest V is hailed by many to be the best instalment in the series itвЂ™s actually rather inaccessible unless you want to play the mobile version. The HD-2D engine is stunning and I can wait to experience the game with updated visuals and quality of life enhancements hopefully sometime this year! To me it seems only right that Dragon Quest V should be the next to receive the HD-2D treatment. As someone who has never played Dragon Quest III I was absolutely ecstatic about the news. Last year Square Enix announced that one of the most influential JRPGвЂ™s of all time, Dragon Quest III, is getting a HD-2D remake. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride вЂ“ Enix 1992 Personally I think this is exactly what this game needs and deserves, being able to experience Super Metroid with the fluidity of DreadвЂ™s movement would be an absolute dream and a day one purchase for me! 4. Following the release of Metroid Dread, a game that nails itвЂ™s combat and movement, discussions around a Super Metroid remake in the same engine arose.

Graphically the game still looks stunning but when it comes down to the games mechanics and how it controls I personally feel itвЂ™s incredibly clunky, to the point its actually unenjoyable for me to play the game. I absolutely adored the opportunity to return to a world that means so much to me, but this time with a fresh coat of paint and quality of life improvements. Many consumers complain about remasters and remakes becoming to common in the industry. Ultimately remasters and remakes are a way to both preserve and celebrate the history of the medium and thatвЂ™s definitely something the industry as a whole needs to get better at. For many, including myself, this will be the first time Live A Live is accessible to them and really goes to show why both remasters and remakes are so important to the games industry. A great example of this is the upcoming HD-2D remake of Live A Live, a game previously on released in Japan now getting a world wide release in the stunning HD-2D engine. Another reason for remakes is to make games that have been lost to time, remain un-localised or are struck on a legacy console accessible to consumers.

One is that developer know remakes of beloved games will sell which makes them a safe investment compared to new titles which can be a risk especially if the title isnвЂ™t attached to an existing franchise. Remakes are becoming more and more common in the games industry and thatвЂ™s for a variety of reasons.
